ABOUT MARK

Mark began his career in 1969 as a creative director in multimedia, working with renowned designer, Milo Baughman, at his Utah-based Communications Workshop. While there, Mark gained national recognition for his freelance photography with Robert Redford and Sundance.
Jespersen then moved into advertising where his print ads won many of the industry’s coveted creative awards. His pro bono campaigns have also helped raise thousands, and in some cases millions to support the health and welfare of life on this planet.
Mark's interest in mid-20th-century design led to the publication of several journal articles on Russel Wright and biographical work on the late furniture designer, Jens Risom. His memoir, The End of the Line, published by Windy City Publishing, is a humorous and nostalgic look at life in the 1950s.
Mark and his wife, the artist Kim Jespersen, currently divide their time between a home on the coast of Maine and their 700-year-old home/atelier/gallery in Provence.
